Yes. Every phone used as a camera, the presenter's device, overflow screens, and the Studio laptop all need to be on the same local network. This is what keeps camera feeds fast and low-latency — everything stays local with no round-trip through the internet. A dedicated router or strong venue Wi-Fi makes a meaningful difference for larger setups.

You don't have to replace anything. Plenty of teams keep their existing switcher and main cameras exactly as they are and use Broadcasteer as an extension — extra angles the big cameras can't reach. Mount a couple of phones for b-roll, a wide safety shot, a stage-side angle, or a discreet congregation view, and either stream them straight through Broadcasteer or feed the output into a spare input on your ATEM or Roland switcher. A mounted phone is small, cheap, and unintrusive, so you can put coverage in spots where wheeling in another full camera would be overkill. Start as an add-on, lean on it as much as you like — many teams find it quietly takes over more of the show over time, but that's your call, not a requirement.

Yes. MultiCast's Lyrics mode is a read-only follower: any phone tracks the live lyrics exactly as the operator advances them. Nothing to control, nothing to accidentally change — it just follows.
Phones on the same local network continue feeding your production view uninterrupted. Only the outbound stream to external platforms pauses, and it reconnects automatically when connectivity returns. Your event keeps going.
Camera feeds stay within your local network during an event — they don't travel through external servers while you're operating. Only devices on your network and in your session can see the feeds. Stream output to platforms like YouTube follows that platform's own security model.
Their feed degrades or drops — same as any wireless connection. The practical fix: position them closer to your router, or add a Wi-Fi extender to that corner of the room. Your other cameras stay unaffected.
Almost every time, it's the same thing: the phone is not on the same Wi-Fi as the laptop running Broadcasteer. The phone might be on mobile data, on guest Wi-Fi, or on a different SSID — anything except your event network. Pre-requisite: the operator's laptop AND every camera phone must be connected to the same router/network. Check the phone's Wi-Fi settings first, switch it to the correct network, then scan the QR code again. If they're already on the same Wi-Fi and it still won't load, two more things to check — allow Broadcasteer through Windows Firewall on first run, and make sure the router doesn't have "client isolation" or "AP isolation" turned on (common on church guest networks and hotel Wi-Fi). Use your own router or the main network and it works instantly.
When you feed Broadcasteer's HDMI output into an ATEM or Blackmagic switcher and the switcher shows no signal, it's almost always a Windows display setting or a resolution the switcher can't lock onto. Work through these in order:

Depends on your plan. Free gives you enough to test with your real team before you commit. PRO and MAX expand what you can run simultaneously. Current limits are listed clearly on the Pricing page.
One. Each subscription includes a single seat — one Studio running on one computer at any given moment. Free, PRO, and MAX are all single-Studio: you can install Broadcasteer on more than one machine, but only one Studio can be logged in and operating at a time. ALPHA is the exception — it runs up to 3 Studios concurrently, so a single subscription can drive three machines at once (separate rooms, separate productions, or a backup operator). This is separate from how many live cameras a Studio supports — that limit is set by your plan and covered above.
